Elovate Systems Inc. is seeking two Learning Assistants for Additional Support Needs (ASN) at the Hawthorn Family Learning Centre in Mayfield, part of Midlothian Council. This permanent position requires candidates to possess basic literacy and numeracy skills, along with qualifications in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent competencies. Applicants must have knowledge of child development, early years practices, and relevant educational frameworks, such as Curriculum for Excellence and GIRFEC. Additional requirements include an up-to-date first aid and food hygiene certificate, or the commitment to obtain these within six months of employment.

The working hours for this role are 28 hours per week, with a salary starting at £22,120.15 per annum. The position is subject to PVG Scheme membership, ensuring compliance with child protection regulations. Successful candidates will be required to participate in ongoing professional development and training tailored to the needs of individual children.
