- Assume responsibility of the CIW Registered Manager role at Southway care home for older people / people living with dementia and ensure the service delivery meets all regulatory requirements and minimum standards.
- Arrange and manage services in compliance with all relevant legislation, national and local performance frameworks and standards and assist in the development, implementation and review of policies, procedures, systems, and processes that conform with local and National regulatory requirements.
- To work in partnership with all members of the residential management team and work in accordance with the ‘across homes’ residential management rota, which includes covering management responsibility for other homes and working some evenings, part nights and weekends.
- To ensure the highest standard of person-centred and outcome-based care is provided and create resident personal delivery plans and risk assessments and ensure they are regularly reviewed and responsive to assessed need.
- To create and maintain the staffing rota systems for care, catering, and domestic staff necessary for the efficient running of the home, including evenings, nights, and weekends
- To recruit, select, manage, and monitor the work of the staff group and agency staff in line with Service, Departmental, Corporate, and statutory requirements, and to assist staff in their personal development.
