The Clinical Nurse Specialist for Hepatology at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will play a pivotal role in enhancing the hepatology service by managing a one-stop clinic aimed at providing timely access to care and treatment for patients with liver conditions. The successful candidate will oversee patient assessments, blood tests, and necessary imaging procedures, while also focusing on streamlining patient pathways to improve appointment waiting times. They will actively engage with patients found in the emergency department with Hepatitis B or C, ensuring appropriate treatment and referrals to community services.

Candidates should possess experience in hepatology nursing and ideally have experience running outpatient clinics, with a strong commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of vulnerable patients. This position is funded for 12 months and will involve collaboration with the clinical team and service manager to assess service effectiveness.
