The Community Paediatrician at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Salford will join a dedicated team providing comprehensive community services for local children. This role involves conducting outpatient clinics in various health and social care centers throughout Salford, managing referrals from neurodevelopmental pathways, GPs, and the 0-19 service. The post-holder will specialize in areas such as neurodisability, safeguarding, and complex disabilities, facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance the neurodevelopmental pathway in the region.

The position includes delivering community and child protection clinics, participating in assessments and management of children with neurodevelopmental conditions, and contributing to service improvements. Candidates with a specific interest in epilepsy, cared for children, and those with complex physical needs are particularly encouraged to apply, as the role is situated within a supportive community hub that promotes effective communication and partnerships across children's services.
