The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join their Production Team at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. This role involves supporting both licensed and unlicensed production activities within a modern Pharmacy Production Unit. The position is open to newly qualified and part-time applicants, and no prior experience is required. Ideal candidates should be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and exhibit a keen interest in aseptic manufacturing and technical services. The role offers opportunities for professional development and salary progression based on the achievement of key learning objectives within two years.

As a Production Pharmacist or Specialist Production Pharmacist, responsibilities include managing aseptic dispensing and licensed manufacturing services, conducting professional checks, and participating in training programs. The post holder will work closely with colleagues to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while also contributing to product development and service improvement initiatives. The position is based primarily at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, with some duties at the Freeman site, and offers flexibility in working arrangements to accommodate both service needs and employee preferences.
