Band 6: £38,682 to £46,580 a year pro rata  PERMANENT 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 6 Registered Nurse/ ODP/ Paramedical to join the Outpatient department at North Devon District Hospital. The successful candidates will have leadership skills and be able to lead and support the team in providing safe, high-quality care and support to our patients.

We are looking for candidates who are dedicated, team players with a real commitment to providing quality patient care whilst helping to drive improvement and innovation. The successful candidate would be required to have a leadership qualification or be prepared to complete one once in post.

Practising in the outpatient setting offers a broad and structured environment with training and development opportunities. The service supports activity from all care groups with a variety of specialist clinics and outpatient treatments/procedures including theatres for minor plastic surgery.

Our outpatient service covers the North Devon District Hospital and all of our local community sites so reasonable travel will be expected as part of the role (mileage is paid).

Working Pattern: Working Pattern: 3 x shifts Monday - Friday, 08:00 18:00, with the potential of needing to cover one Saturday a month depending on the needs of the service.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2025/6 rates, inclusive of a 3.6% pay award which will be implemented later this year. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2024/5 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2024/25 | NHS Employers)
