Job description
Gastroenterology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is a 24 bedded ward, specialising in looking after patients with Gastroenterology diseases. Nurses are also in involved in the management of other conditions that affect the gastrointestinal tract, such as liver disease or pancreatic issues.
As a Staff Nurse you will be expected to support the team to provide a consistent high standard of nursing practice with particular emphasis on quality and clinical standards.
We are looking for a nurse with the skills to thrive within a friendly environment with the ability to cope under pressure.

To ensure patient safety is maintained by being responsible and accountable for safe, compassionate patient centred care.
Liaise with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to assist with admissions and safe discharges of our patients.
