The Linen Assistant role at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust in Dewsbury is a part-time position requiring 9 hours of work per week (5 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday). The role involves providing efficient linen services to patients, staff, and external customers, including handling soiled linen, operating laundry machinery, sorting and folding linen, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities include washing, drying, and pressing linen; maintaining cleanliness in the linen service area; transporting supplies, and managing documentation. The position requires maintaining good working relationships, reporting issues to management, participating in stock counts, and assisting in the delivery and collection of linen and uniforms.
