The role of Male Bilingual Bank Worker (Interpreter) at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust involves providing essential interpreting services in various languages to support health professionals and patients across local hospitals. Applicants must demonstrate full daytime availability, as the service operates during weekdays, out of hours, weekends, and bank holidays. Key responsibilities include face-to-face, telephone, and video interpretations, requiring the candidate to possess an interpreting qualification and ideally have experience in a hospital setting. Familiarity with IT systems, such as MS Teams, is also vital.

The job is offered on a band 3 pro-rata basis, with compensation structured around specific hourly rates depending on the time of service provided, and includes allowances for mileage and parking from the base hospital.
