As Group Deputy Chief Nursing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our senior leadership team, deputising for the Group Chief Nursing Officer and leading on a broad spectrum of executive responsibilities. Working alongside senior nursing and Allied Health Professional (AHP) leaders, you will champion professional excellence, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compassionate care for every patient.
You will cultivate a vibrant and positive workplace for nurses, midwives, AHPs, adult social workers, and healthcare support staff alike. When nursing care and practice standards fall short, you will be proactive in establishing effective plans for improvement.
You will lead a diverse array of national, system-wide, and corporate projects, playing an integral role in shaping the future of nursing at the corporate level. Furthermore, you will work in close partnership with the Group Deputy Chief Medical Officer and the Group Deputy Chief Delivery Officer as part of a dynamic triumvirate.
