Job description
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts is thrilled to extend a rewarding career opportunity within our Paediatric Endocrinology Team situated at the Queen's Medical Centre. Embrace a pivotal role as a Band 6 Paediatric Endocrine Clinical Nurse Specialist where you'll blend clinical excellence with compassionate care, becoming a vital contact for young patients and their families. You're charged with conducting dynamic stimulation tests for diagnosing endocrine conditions, which requires undertaking a phlebotomy and cannulation course. This role travels across multiple outreach clinics including Lincoln, Boston, Newark, and Mansfield, entailing monthly visits to bring holistic healthcare directly to communities. Help develop our service by setting up more nurse-led activities while managing a caseload in collaboration with a passionate multidisciplinary team.
We seek a devoted nurse, particularly someone who is registered with the NMC and aspires to further develop their skills through continuous learning. Experience working in paediatrics or with endocrine patients, whilst advantageous, is not essential—what matters above all are your motivation and communication skills. Assume leadership in educational initiatives across schools and home care setups, ensuring the specialist care for enduring endocrine needs. You’ll also partake in research, contributing to clinical innovation, and maintaining precise records in alignment with trust policies. Ready to be a beacon of mentorship and clinical excellence? Simply click the 'Apply Now' button on jobsincare.com to embark on this enriching path with us.
