The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Radiologist to join their Imaging services team, which encompasses a range of sub-specialties, including General Radiology, Musculoskeletal (MSK), Head and Neck, Nuclear Medicine, and more. This full-time role primarily involves working across two major sites, with responsibilities including general reporting and participation in the on-call rota. The Trust offers a supportive environment for professional development, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for teaching within their Radiology Academy.

Candidates will work collaboratively with 50 Consultant Radiologists and 18 Specialty Registrars, contributing to both clinical service and education. The role includes supervisory responsibilities for junior medical staff, involvement in undergraduate and postgraduate training, and the opportunity to support the development of new imaging services at community diagnostic centres. With modern equipment and a focus on work-life balance, the position offers 10 Programmed Activities (PAs) and encourages a harmonious work atmosphere.
