The Locality Team Leader Nurse at Princess Alice Hospice in Esher is responsible for leading a multi-professional locality team under the guidance of the Associate Director of Patient Care and Communities. The role emphasises a person-centered approach to leadership, focusing on coaching, self-awareness, and professional development. With at least 60% of the role dedicated to direct clinical care, the leader will ensure that clinical practices align with contemporary developments in Specialist Palliative Care and End of Life Care while promoting a collaborative and educational environment for the team.

Key responsibilities include managing team performance, facilitating effective communication, and supporting the integration of services with external health and social care providers. The role requires experience in palliative care or oncology, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and mentor team members. Additionally, the Nurse will participate in education and research initiatives, uphold professional standards, and represent the hospice in various activities.
