Thistlethwhyte ward is an acute Medicine for Elderly ward on the St Mary's Hospital site. The patients on the ward are cared for in an environment that provides comfort, safety and support for their stay. We encourage innovation and work closely with an inspiring team of nurses, medics, dementia specialists, occupational therapists, discharge coordinators and physiotherapists to ensure our patients remain active and engaged. We also pride ourselves on our communication with our colleagues in the community to ensure safe discharge occurs every time.
