Job description
- Ensures the day unit runs effectively on a day to day basis by providing a comprehensive administrative service to (under direct supervision of the senior Sister/Charge Nurse) the following areas: Support services, ward environment, information technology and communication.
- Provides a point of contact for all ward enquiries managing, politely and appropriately, verbal and written enquiries from patients, carers, family and health care professionals ensuring appointment and timely action.
- Answers telephone, takes messages and provide information as directed.
- Stock and non-stock ordering and receiving to the ward.
