As a Pharmacy Technician/Dispenser, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication management and deliver high-quality care to our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skills and contribute directly to improving patient outcomes within a primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately dispense medications according to prescriptions, adhering to legal and professional standards.

* Manage and maintain dispensary stock levels, ensuring efficient ordering and minimizing waste.

* Assist with medication reviews and reconciliation, liaising with patients and healthcare professionals.

* Provide advice to patients on the safe and effective use of their medicines.

* Support the implementation of repeat prescribing protocols and medication safety initiatives.

* Contribute to audits and quality improvement projects related to medicines management.

* Maintain accurate dispensing records and documentation.

* Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to ensure seamless patient care.

* Participate in relevant training and development activities.

What We're Looking For:

* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) OR significant experience as a Dispenser in a pharmacy setting.

* Excellent dispensing skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.

* Good organisational and time management skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A commitment to patient care and continuous professional development.

* Experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting (desirable but not essential).

* Familiarity with Systm1 or other GP clinical systems (desirable but training will be provided).
