The East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker in Dunstable to provide care for older individuals affected by dementia and other mental health conditions. This role involves delivering person-centered care in clients' homes or community settings as part of a multidisciplinary team. The support worker will respond to crises, educate and advise care home staff, and implement care strategies to reduce distress and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. Working hours are from 9am to 8pm, seven days a week, covering the Bedfordshire area, except for Luton.

Candidates should possess relevant skills and experience, ideally from inpatient or community care backgrounds, and must hold a full driving license. The primary goals include reducing the number of residents transferred to care homes, minimizing A&E admissions, and enhancing the quality of life for those with dementia and mental health issues. The post holder will play a crucial role in supporting both clients and their families, fostering a familiar and supportive environment while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
