Step into a fulfilling role as a Health Care Assistant with St David's Hospice Care in Newport, where your empathy and professionalism will make a profound difference. Working 36 hours per week, you'll dive into rewarding tasks within our Inpatient Unit, offering vital palliative care support to patients and their families. Uphold the dignity and comfort of each patient, as you assist with personal hygiene and other basic care needs, always sensitive to their privacy. You'll form part of an inspiring team, working closely with nurses to monitor patient conditions, performing nursing procedures as per the St Davids Care Plan, and ensuring the environment is safe and supportive for everyone.
