The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering high-quality patient care and will engage in ongoing professional development within a culture of learning. Additionally, maintaining accurate patient records using TPP SystmOne is a key responsibility of this position. The role offers part-time hours, ranging from 20 to 24 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Minor Illness Nurse to join our 4-partner training practice at Petersgate Medical Centre in North Doncaster (20/24 hours a week). We are a well-established training practice with a strong and supportive learning environment with experienced GP trainers.
You will work alongside our dedicated nursing team consisting of 2 practice nurses and 4 healthcare assistants, as well as the rest of our practice team including clinical pharmacists, physiotherapists,
Mental health workers and doctors.

- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with minor illnesses in both face-to-face and telephone consultations. in line with current evidence-based guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing and wider multi-disciplinary team.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of learning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using TPP SystmOne.
