Job description
Step into a dynamic and fulfilling career as an Emergency Practitioner with Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust in Oswestry's Minor Injury Unit (MIU). This role promises a rich variety of experiences with every shift you undertake, in an environment where no two days are the same. You'll partner with a close-knit, supportive team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Working in shift patterns that include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, you'll embrace the challenge of treating diverse conditions, contributing to improving healthcare outcomes for the local community. As part of our MIU, your expertise as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Advanced Physiotherapist will be pivotal in providing care closer to home, supporting the integration with primary care networks and acute hospitals.
You'll enjoy ongoing opportunities for professional growth, with comprehensive access to a wide array of courses designed to hone and expand your clinical skills. This role suits those who thrive on connection, both with patients and an exceptional multi-disciplinary team known for its exemplary team spirit and mutual support. Although the position is part-time and does not meet the salary requirements for work visa sponsorship, it offers a wonderful opportunity for those with the right to work in the UK. This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.
