Catalyst Care Group’s Unique Community Services needs compassionate Healthcare Support workers in Liverpool (covering nearby areas including Manchester, Bolton, Blackpool, Warrington and Stoke-on-Trent) to deliver person-centred, at‑home mental health care. This temporary, part‑time role pays £18 per hour and is on‑site only. You’ll support people with behaviour that challenges and personality disorders by providing mobility and basic moving and handling, monitoring vital signs, helping with meals, hydration and household cleanliness, administering medication and keeping accurate records. The role also involves offering companionship and emotional support, occasional financial assistance, and working closely with families and colleagues to deliver safe, dignified care. A full driving licence, PMVA training and a minimum of one year’s community or home‑based healthcare experience (including work with mental health, autism or learning disabilities) are required; strong communication, organisational and leadership skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. Flexible availability — nights, weekends and bank holidays — is expected.
