Help people with learning disabilities to live more independently as a Support Worker with Mencap in Stowmarket. This permanent role pays £12.85 per hour and is available full-time (37.5 hrs) or part-time with flexible hours to fit family life. You’ll support a diverse group of people with day-to-day tasks, personal care and emotional needs, working across a 24‑hour service with shift patterns that can include days (07:00–22:00), evenings, weekends and bank holidays. A current driving licence is required, sleep‑in shifts attract an enhanced flat rate of £63.70, and all offers are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references. Rotas are prepared at least four weeks in advance so you can plan your personal and social life.
