All of our inpatient wards in St Ann's have been awarded the Prestigious accreditation by the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Combined Committee for Accreditation (CCA). We are recruiting a Band 3 Health Care Assistants. In recognition of the high levels of care being delivered at Blossom Court, we have strengthened the management structure on each ward, and will be supplementing the existing structure. Our inpatient wards aim to offer a safe and secure therapeutic environment to Haringey residents who require treatment in an acute mental health inpatient setting. Our service users come from diverse backgrounds, and we recognise that an admission is an opportunity for growth and recovery. We use a variety of clinical models on our wards and seek to empower our nurses and other staff to offer high quality, evidence based interventions. Candidates will have the ability to manage a high pressured ward environment and work with acutely unwell service users. Please do read Job Description document Our Band 3 HCA will be part of a MDT comprising of peer support workers, social workers, psychologists, nurses, psychiatrists and other allied health professionals. They will be expected to lead the ward on a day to day basis and provide guidance to junior members of staff, whilst being a role model in demonstrating our trust values. Comprehensive support will be offered to the post holders including professional and clinical supervision, as well as access to the leadership development opportunities offered by NLFT.
