Senior Support Worker Job details Posting date: 05 November 2025 Salary: Not specified Additional salary information: £13.50 per hour Hours: Full time Closing date: 19 November 2025 Location: Blackpool, Lancashire Remote working: On-site only Company: Creative Support Job type: Permanent Job reference: 88Apply for this job Summary We’re looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our supported living and outreach service in Blackpool, providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, including those with autism spectrum conditions and complex needs. This role is ideal for an experienced carer ready to lead a team and support individuals at our Blackpool service. You’ll receive ongoing training to further your personal and professional development. As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll provide respectful personal care, emotional, and practical support to service users, collaborate with service users, families, and the multidisciplinary team to maximize outcomes, implement Creative Support principles, policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure the service meets CQC requirements, supervise and support staff to meet service user needs and preferences, and support service users in achieving a full, happy, safe and well-rounded life. Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities is essential. While a clean, valid driving licence and access to a car are desirable, they are not required. Flexibility is crucial for this role, as you’ll be expected to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the service.
