We are flexible on days. 6 hours per week during school holidays. School holidays will be 6 hrs a week also flexible on days and times. Hourly pay rate: £12.21 PA wanted to work with my 6 year old son who has a rare genetic condition called Sox 4. His main symptom is global development delay which has mostly affected his speech, reading and writing. He requires a lot of 1-1 attention. He loves riding his bike and scooter. He enjoys playing football and loves diggers and cars, and going on the swings at the park. The PA will be based here at home or can take him out to the park etc. We are a non smoking family. We are ideally looking for someone with experience of working with disabled children, especially with speech delay. My son needs a PA who has lots of energy, is patient and caring. Duties include: Companionship Taking the child out to the park Supporting the child at home Keeping the child safe and supervised at all times Candidate qualities: Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality Reliable with good timekeeping Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative Hygienic, tidy and well organised Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills Honest and cheerful Creative Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard Able to always work to high standards of health & safety Ideally have experience of working with children with disabilities, especially speech delay. Have lots of energy. Be caring.
