Provide calm, consistent overnight care at YMCA Robin Hood Group’s warm, four‑bed Selby home as a Waking Nights Residential Support Worker. Working waking nights (10pm–8am) on a 4-on/4-off rota (40 hours per week, long days), you’ll remain awake to keep children safe and settled, offer reassuring presence and gentle night‑time activities, and support the day team to keep the house cosy and running smoothly. The role follows a psychologically informed therapeutic model so you’ll learn to respond calmly to dysregulated moments, keep accurate records and build trusting relationships with the child living in the home. Salary is £27,030–£30,523 (sliding scale for experience and qualifications) plus overtime.
