Improve the inpatient care and experience of people living with dementia and delirium at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Tooting, London. This permanent, full‑time role (salary £46,419–£55,046 pa inc HCAS, pro‑rata) sits at the heart of the Trust’s Dementia and Delirium Strategy: you will assess patients with suspected or confirmed delirium, promote best practice for prevention and management, provide both formal and informal training across the Trust, and support quality improvement work and KPIs. The post offers the chance to run nurse‑led outpatient clinics with the Cognitive Neurology Service, work alongside Dementia Clinical Nurse Specialists and an Alzheimer’s Society Support Worker, and operate within a strong multi‑disciplinary team across a major teaching hospital serving southwest London and beyond.

This opportunity is for an experienced nurse who has worked across patient groups and professional boundaries, and who communicates confidently, thinks proactively and cares deeply about improving patient and carer outcomes. It will suit compassionate, career‑minded carers—particularly women looking for a role with visible impact—who want to influence practice, deliver training and develop specialist skills in dementia and delirium care. St George’s is a Disability Confident employer and offers a supportive, cohesive nursing team where your expertise will be valued.
