Hourly pay rate: £12.21 per hour I am looking for a PA for my 7 year old son. He is autistic and non verbal so it will take someone with a lot of caring and patience. He gets over stimulated and cannot communicate his needs so will have to be a person he can be calm and help stimulate him. In terms times it would involve being here for school drop off and feeding him dinner (which I will have prepared) otherwise most of the duties involved a getting ready for bed, bathing, changing nappies etc. He likes to be outside including walks along the seafront and loves water play and bouncing so again taking him out would play a big part in the role. Duties include: Personal grooming Eating and drinking assistance Moving and handling Other relevant duties as required Housekeeping Shopping Cooking Transportation Looking after pets Dressing / undressing Bathroom assistance Candidate qualities: Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality Able to tolerate the employer smoking in the workplace Reliable with good timekeeping Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative Hygienic, tidy and well organised Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills Honest and cheerful Creative Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard Must be comfortable with pets Able to always work to high standards of health & safety Additional requirements Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours Notes: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
