Make a real difference as a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One in Rochdale, working days either 33 or 44 hours per week on a permanent contract. You’ll lead and support a team of Care Assistants to deliver personalised, person-centred care across dementia, nursing and residential services — from helping residents use walking frames to supporting those at the end of life. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing tailored care plans, administering medication under the direction of the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, running meaningful social and recreational activities, keeping accurate records and practising vigilant safeguarding. The role suits someone with a Level 2 Diploma/S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent) who’s keen to work towards Level 3, has experience with person-centred dementia care, excellent time management and a naturally kind, calm manner that puts residents and families at ease. Salary is £13.50–£14.10 per hour (subject to experience and qualifications). Closing date: 04 December 2025.
