Support pupils with additional learning needs as a temporary Teaching Assistant at Tŷ Gwyn School, Ely (Cardiff CF5). This on-site, term-time role is 32.5 hours per week (39 weeks) on a temporary contract with a start as soon as possible. Salary is Grade SCP 3–6 (£24,796–£25,989 pro rata) plus an ALN allowance. You will work with children and young people aged 3–19 with autism and/or profound and complex needs, delivering pupil-centred classroom and personal care support, helping with daily routines, learning activities and safeguarding. The post is suitable for job-share, is subject to an enhanced DBS check and requires registration with the Education Workforce Council; internal applicants who wish to apply on secondment must obtain prior approval.
