You will play a vital role in helping young people aged 7-17 develop life skills, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing home environment. Key Responsibilities - Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to young people living in the home. - Build positive, trusting relationships while acting as a role model. - Support young people with daily routines, including education, hobbies, health, and personal care where required. - Encourage independence by helping young people develop essential life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care. - Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies. - Promote safeguarding and ensure the safety and welfare of each young person at all times. - Plan and participate in activities, outings, and community engagement. - Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs in line with organisational and regulatory standards. - Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers, families, schools, and other professionals. - Assist in maintaining a clean, homely, and supportive living environment.
