This role not only requires direct interaction with families but also the ability to assess needs, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress. Responsibilities Provide direct support and guidance to families in accessing needed services. Conduct assessments to identify families’ strengths and areas for improvement. Develop and implement individualized support plans based on families’ unique needs. Facilitate workshops and support groups to promote family engagement and education. Collaborate with social services, schools, and healthcare providers to coordinate support efforts. Advocate for families within the community and help them navigate various systems. Monitor progress and adjust support strategies as necessary, ensuring families are on track to meet their goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field. Experience working with families, children, or vulnerable populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening. Ability to assess situations, identify needs, and develop effective support plans. Knowledge of community resources and services available to families. Cultural competency and a commitment to serving diverse populations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
