This Band 6 Occupational Therapist role sits within the Frailty Therapy team at East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust in Ashford (William Harvey Hospital), offering a permanent, full‑time post with a salary of £38,682–£46,580. You will work across Front Door Therapy Services, including the Frailty Assessment Unit and the Frailty SDEC area aligned to A&E, providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and specialist OT advice for patients admitted via A&E. The role involves managing a daily clinical caseload, contributing to person‑centred discharge planning, working closely with community partners to support safe transfers of care, and operating as an integral member of the multi‑disciplinary frailty team.

This post is well suited to experienced, compassionate occupational therapists who want hands‑on clinical practice plus opportunities to lead and teach — you will deputise for the Team Leader on clinical and managerial matters and help train new graduates, students, apprentices and support workers.
