About the Role: As a Support Worker / Personal Assistant, you’ll be supporting *William in his daily life and activities, both at home and in the community. You’ll help him achieve his goals, stay engaged, and enjoy the things he loves. Key Responsibilities: • Daily Living Support: Assisting *William with everyday routines, ensuring his wellbeing and comfort. • Personalised Support: Providing specialist support tailored to *William and his individual needs. • Supporting Sensory Activities: Supporting sensory-driven activities such as crafting, swimming, and nature walks. • Encouraging Independence: Encouraging *William’s independence and supporting him in making his own decisions about daily life. • The Great Outdoors: Helping *William explore the outdoors, whether it’s through climbing or spending time with animals. About You: • Compassionate, patient, and reliable: You are enthusiastic about helping *William live life his way. • Respectful of Independence: You can empower *William to make his own choices while offering support when needed. • Fun-loving with a great sense of humour: *William thrives on laughter and would love a support worker who share in his joy. • Experience (Preferred but Not Required): Whether you’ve worked in care or not, a great attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most. • Driver’s License (Preferred): A license would be helpful for taking *William on outings and helping him stay engaged in the community.
