Are you looking for a new challenge? We wish to recruit a passionate and experienced recovery outreach worker to work with young adults, aged 18 – 25, who have a history of substance-related offending. This is a key role working across Matthew Project, Change Grow Live and Probation services, as part of a multi-agency team covering Norfolk. This post involves providing proactive psychosocial support on a one-to-one basis to young adults. You will undertake the planning and delivery of direct service user care with minimal supervision ensuring continuity of practice and working within a multi-disciplinary environment. You will be responsible for your own case load. You will be passionate about improving outcomes for young adults who are vulnerable and excluded from mainstream services and will advocate effectively on their behalf. You will understand the effects of trauma on young people’s lives and work holistically to provide a high quality of care. The work will be carried out within various locations across the county, including Matthew Project, probation, Change Grow Live, and community settings, depending on the service user’s needs. The ability to drive is essential. The role will be hosted by the Matthew Project, which is a value driven charity working across Norfolk, giving help and hope through programmes with adults, young people and communities affected by drugs and alcohol.
