As a Support Worker based in St Austell you’ll provide hands-on, person-centred care to a woman who has autism, anorexia and mental health needs. The role is full-time, permanent and delivered on a 2:1 basis, with responsibilities including planning and taking part in meaningful activities, community outings, supporting day-to-day household tasks and communicating in her preferred way to build trust and routine. To get the best from trips out you should be local to St Austell, hold a full UK driving licence and have previous experience supporting people with autism, mental health needs, anorexia and behaviours that can be perceived as challenging. Shifts follow a 0800–2000 / 2000–0800 pattern (three 12‑hour shifts, with occasional nights) and pay is competitive: Monday–Friday day £14.18/hr, nights £15.23/hr; Saturday & Sunday day £15.23/hr, nights £16.28/hr.
