This role involves providing high-quality care and support to patients with a range of physical, rehabilitation and chronic health needs, helping them maintain independence and dignity during their hospital stay. ✅ Key Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, feeding, and toileting Support therapeutic activities and mobility as directed by nursing and therapy staff Promote independence and emotional wellbeing among service users Maintain cleanliness and a safe environment within the ward/unit Report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff Support clinical teams with observations, documentation, and equipment checks Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients' holistic care needs are met Requirements Minimum of 6 months of NHS expirience Care Certificate or equivalent qualification is highly desirable Enhanced DBS required (can be processed via Medacs if not already held) Up-to-date immunisations: Hepatitis B, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), TB, and Varicella (Chickenpox) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic A genuine passion for supporting patients and promoting wellbeing Benefits of Working via Medacs Healthcare Competitive pay rates and weekly payroll Supportive recruitment and compliance team Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Dedicated consultant support - contact Marlena on 1582 310099 for immediate consideration
