Support patients with complex needs at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Thatcham as a Healthcare Clinical Support Worker. This permanent, full‑time role (salary £24,937–£26,598 per annum) puts you at the heart of a hardworking, multi‑disciplinary ward team, assisting qualified staff with personalised care that promotes independence and dignity. Day‑to‑day duties include personal care, toileting, dressing, moving and handling, supporting mobilisation, bed-making, serving meals and feeding patients, and working to individualised care plans alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists and doctors. Once assessed as competent you may carry out simple clinical tasks delegated by nursing staff—wound care, ECGs, blood sugar checks, stoma and catheter care, venepuncture and other clinical responsibilities—so this role suits experienced carers or those with a Care Certificate (or equivalent) who are confident with hands‑on patient support and IT record keeping.
