Support learners with additional needs as a Learning Support Worker based at Carlisle College (NCG). This part‑time, temporary role (salary £25,283–£25,575 per year) involves in‑class assistance for students with EHCPs — note‑taking, prompting and helping with classroom tasks so learners can access teaching, learning and assessment. You’ll create and adapt resources including e‑resources and assistive technology, supervise learners on arrival, during breaks and at departure, and support off‑site activities such as trips, travel training and work placements. Keeping clear records of learner needs, progress and achievement of targets is an important part of the role.
