Join us as a Support Worker and be part of a team that empowers adults experiencing homelessness to take back control of their lives.This is more than a job, it’s a chance to inspire hope, build trust, and support people on their journey to independence.You will support two rewarding services, Martin House, a vibrant space with self-contained flats and shared gardens that foster creativity and connection, and Hatfield Road, a smaller, hands-on setting where you will build strong, supportive relationships with five residents.What You Will Be Doing:Creating tailored support plans that reflect each person’s goals and strengthsEncouraging independence through everyday skills like cooking, cleaning, and budgetingDelivering compassionate, personalised support that recognises each individual’s unique experiences and needs.Supporting access to healthcare, appointments, and community servicesEngaging residents through creative, informal activitiesEnsuring a safe, secure, and positive environmentHelping people set and achieve meaningful, life-changing goalsWorking independently with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts.About You:We are looking for someone with experience as a support worker who brings:A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to help others thriveStrong communication skills and adaptability to different needsReliability and flexibility, including availability for weekends and bank holidaysA commitment to equality, diversity, and person-centred careA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Business Insurance will be required if successful).
