I’m looking for a male support worker/buddy to hang out with me, help me get out and about, and support me with everyday stuff. I’m a sociable guy – I love spending time with people, having a laugh, and doing fun things. I’m into football, swimming, going to the cinema, trains and playing games on my iPad. If you enjoy those too, we’ll get on great! I have learning difficulties and epilepsy, which means I sometimes need a bit of help with memory, problem-solving, and coordination. I do have mild seizures a couple of times a week, but I bounce back quickly with a bit of support. I also need help with some self-care tasks. Right now, I’m working on becoming more independent — things like shopping, using public transport, and exploring London. I’d really like someone who can support me to build my confidence while keeping an eye on safety. What You’ll Get: £17.00/hour weekdays | £18.00/hour weekends, double pay for bank holidays 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) Free DBS check Induction and training (including The Care Certificate) Regular supervision and support from my care team Ongoing help from my Case Manager, Occupational Therapist and HR Team Our Values – What Matters to Us: We are Supportive – It matters to us that our clients and staff know that we care. Important Stuff: To work with me, you’ll need: Proof you can work in the UK Satisfactory references An enhanced DBS check (don’t worry – a conviction doesn’t always mean you can’t work with me) If you’re kind, understanding, and ready to help me live my best life, while helping me grow my independence, I’d love to hear from you.
