Lead supported living services for adults with learning disabilities from a managerial base in Workington, Cumbria — permanent, full‑time, salary £29,055. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations across local supported living homes, manage and develop care staff through supervision and training, and deliver person‑centred support plans that promote independence and personal goals. The role splits roughly 50/50 between on‑rota frontline work and administrative duties (audits, payroll, record keeping), includes safeguarding and compliance responsibilities, and requires accurate documentation, strong communication with families and agencies, and a car for local travel. The position includes participation in an on‑call rota (one in three weeks) with a paid allowance of £65.

This role suits experienced supported living or adult social care practitioners ready to step into leadership — NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is desirable, Level 5 Leadership and Management advantageous, and proficiency with care management software and Microsoft Office expected. Brook Street is recruiting on behalf of an established provider offering a full induction and training programme, clear career development, wellbeing support including an Employee Assistance Programme, pension and 28 days annual leave, plus rewards and incentives within a collaborative team environment.
