Support people with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs in purpose-built homes in Ilkeston (DE7 8XW). This permanent, full-time Support Worker role (39 hours per week) pays £12.21 per hour and suits an experienced, resilient carer who has worked with mental health needs and challenging, complex behaviour. You’ll work across 12 independent living apartments and 8 bungalows, following daily planners and supporting residents with finances, domestic tasks, medication administration and, where needed, personal care. Shifts run across days, evenings and waking nights (7am–10pm and 10pm–7am) on a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays; an Enhanced DBS is required.

Day-to-day you’ll encourage independence and social inclusion through activity planning, meal preparation, maintaining relationships and supporting access to volunteering or education.
