Support adults with complex health needs to remain independent in their own home as a Support Worker for Active Care Group in a lovely setting near Mold. You’ll provide person-centred care to a female client with a spinal cord injury, covering personal care, medication administration, moving and handling, light domestic tasks and community outings. The role requires an automatic driving licence as you’ll drive to appointments, shopping trips and social activities; you must be comfortable with dogs and happy to spend time chatting and supporting a sociable client who loves getting out. Shifts are typically 3–4 per week (09:30–21:30), with weekend and bank-holiday flexibility required, working on a flexible zero-hours contract with potential for contracted hours after three months. Pay is up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience, and a £100 welcome bonus is paid after three months’ service.
