Lead strategic commissioning for Adult Social Care in Wokingham with a permanent, full‑time role paying £73,452–£80,878 per year plus benefits. AWD online is recruiting a Head of Strategic Commissioning to work on a hybrid basis (office and up to two days at home), 37 hours per week. This senior post will drive commissioning programmes, design and implement person‑centred strategies, shape sustainable provider markets and deliver value for money across adult care services. The role is part of an organisation recently rated “Good” overall in its 2025 inspection, with “Outstanding” scores in Partnerships & Communities and Learning, Improvement & Innovation — a strong platform for continuing service improvement.
