Work as a Male Support Worker in Stoke-on-Trent supporting four adults in a residential setting, delivering person-centred care for people with learning disabilities, autism and complex or challenging behaviour. This permanent, full‑time role pays £12.36 per hour and involves personal care, advocacy, clear written records and active engagement with service users to achieve meaningful outcomes. You’ll need previous care experience, excellent communication and writing skills, the calmness to manage pressure, confidence to work alone and as part of a close team, and flexibility to work unsociable hours, weekends and bank holidays. A driving licence is preferred due to the site location; CareTech requires an enhanced DBS (the cost is covered) and cannot consider skilled or student visa applicants. Due to the nature of the service, only male applicants can be considered.

CareTech champions a friendly, empowering and person‑centred culture with real development opportunities — on‑going training, career progression, free DBS checks, an Employee Assistance Programme, a £500 Recommend a Friend bonus (subject to T&Cs) and access to the CareTech Foundation and Blue Light Discount Card. If you care about making a positive, practical difference and want to work where outcomes are measured and people are supported to live as independently as possible, this is a hands‑on role with strong team values.
