As a Waking Night Support Worker based in Lowestoft, you’ll provide waking-night support for adults with learning disabilities, working 30 hours per week on a part‑time basis with shifts from 22:00 to 07:00. This role suits compassionate carers — particularly women looking for meaningful, hands-on work that fits around family life — who can travel to the service for their allocated start time and are flexible to cover evenings, weekends and bank holidays. No specific prior experience is required; Mencap will train you and support your development. All roles require an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

The pay rate is £12.21 per hour and rotas are issued at least four weeks in advance to help you plan your life outside work.
