This permanent, part-time role (salary £27,780–£30,564 pro rata) offers hybrid working of up to four days remote each week and is ideal for experienced carers or those beginning a career in social care — previous social work experience is not essential. You will carry out community assessments and reviews, provide practical support and guidance to help people retain independence, and work alongside families, care providers and health professionals to identify and signpost creative community-based solutions. Benefits include continuous professional development, Health Assured employee support (24/7), generous annual leave, occupational sick pay and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme. You must already have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available, and Hampshire County Council is a proud Disability Confident employer.
