This role is for 7 hours per week, spread across Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement & Appointments Support the customer to safely access local community services and attend church activities. Accompany them to appointments. Running errands such as parcel drop-offs and trips to the tip Social & Family Connections Enable the customer to maintain meaningful relationships and visit friends in the community. Home Environment Assist with maintaining a clean and habitable home, including: Bin management (wheelie bins and internal bins) Cleaning tasks: windows, bathroom, kitchen, fridge/freezer, oven, floors Laundry, ironing, and steaming Nutrition & Meal Preparation Doing in person supermarket shopping Unpacking and storing groceries Batch cooking and kitchen clean up Personal Care & Hygiene Help the customer conserve energy for daily showers by supporting with other daily living tasks Assist with clothing needs and maintaining personal hygiene Medication & Health Pick up prescriptions and over the counter medications & organise into pill organisers Support with budgeting, paperwork, and form-filling Safety & Mobility Ensure the customer can move around her home safely and comfortably Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience in support work or care (preferred but not essential) A kind, respectful, and patient approach Good organisational skills Ability to work independently and follow Emma’s preferences The applicant would need a clean driving license and own car.
