Support registered nursing staff in the Clinical Haematology team at Walsall Manor Hospital, delivering hands‑on patient care and practical ward duties under the supervision of a registered practitioner. The role is part‑time and permanent (salary £24,465 per annum, pro rata) based in Walsall WS2 9PS (Job ref: 7575514/407‑WCCSS‑7575514). Duties include personal care (washing, dressing, skin and oral care), assistance with mobility and transfers using aids and hoists, nutrition and fluid monitoring, participation in emergencies, infection prevention and control, preparing and maintaining clinic rooms, basic clerical, stock and equipment checks, chaperoning and use of IT systems to record patient information. You must work within your training and competence, report any changes in patient condition and make the team aware of any limits to your scope of practice.
